Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin left training Tuesday for precautionary reasons after enduring an upper body tweak.
Ovechkin is questionable for the match Wednesday at the New York Islanders but will make the excursion.
"I am expecting he will maintain the lineup tomorrow," Capitals coach Barry Trotz told the Capitals site. & quot;I believe therefore, yeah."
