New Jersey Devils forward Mike Cammalleri failed to travel to Pittsburgh and will not be in the lineup Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team declared.
Cammalleri went for X rays Monday after he was elbowed in a match Friday against the Dallas Stars. He was in the lineup Saturday for the Devils most recent match, a 3-2 overtime triumph against the Ottawa Senators.
Cammalleri leads the Devils with five goals. He’s seven points in his first eight matches with New Jersey.
