NASHVILLE — Pittsburgh Penguins forwards Patric Hornqvist and Nick Spaling will return to Bridgestone Stadium on Saturday to play the Nashville Predators for the very first time since being traded in June.
"It feels a bit strange to come here this early in the season," Hornqvist said. & quot;I spent six great years here and plenty of items to take from Nashville. It was pleasant to find out the lads [Friday] night, also it is definitely going to be fun to play against them [Saturday]."
Hornqvist and Spaling were traded to Pittsburgh by Nashville in exchange for forward James Neal. Hornqvist and Spaling were crucial players for Nashville last season, hence the trade took them by surprise.
