WINNIPEG — The Tampa Bay Lightning start to wind down a five-match road trip when they see the Winnipeg Jets on Friday at MTS Centre.
The Lightning have had two days away after splitting two matches in Alberta, a loss from the Edmonton Oilers followed by an overtime win against the Calgary Flames. After confronting Winnipeg, the Lightning stop their trip Saturday at the Minnesota Wild.
"We Have still got lots of work to do," Lightning captain Steven Stamkos said. & quot;Specific regions [of focus] have kind of fell in a few intervals of matches, but for the large part I believe we’d have taken that in the start of the [season]. But we have got to finish off this road trip. It’s been quite great so far."
