OTTAWA — On a memorable night at the conclusion of terrible week, Ottawa Senators forward Bobby Ryan said he understands what he’ll remember most.
"I believe we understood the feeling would be like that right when we came out. It provides you with the thrills using the glow sticks going as well as the supporters being loud. ‘O Canada’ was something that I Will always remember. I believe lots of men and women can hark back to that," Ryan said Saturday after an emotional night at Canadian Tire Centre.
In a unified effort, the Senators, Montreal Canadiens as well as the Toronto Maple Leafs honored two Canadian soldiers, Cpl. Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrick Vincent, who have been killed in different events throughout the week. The service also honored the first responders to all those events.
